Have you ever been handed a project or a packet of things to do and felt completely overwhelmed? The first thing we do is start sorting through the requirements or looking at what we ultimately want to accomplish. All the tasks cannot be completed at once. There is an order in which the tasks need to be executed for the project to be successful. Getting one piece at a time would be less stressful.
That is how our life is. If God handed us everything he has for us at once, we would be completely overwhelmed. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven,” (AMP). Some of the seasons and times are enjoyable and some are trying. Each one has a purpose and an order. No matter what season you are in, know that it is under God’s plan and working to strengthen your relationship with Him and move you to the next season. It is easy to thrive when you are in the easy season. Most people just want to survive the difficult seasons, but God is still with you and can bless you in that season too. Instead of just surviving, look to God’s word and let Him help you thrive!
